Hyman Krustofsky (originally voiced by Jackie Mason and later by other actors). is the father of Krusty the Klown. He is the rabbi at the local synagogue. Krusty and his father became estranged when Hyman discovered that his son was the entertainment at a dinner he was attending. Hyman very strongly disapproved of his son's profession and the disrespect he had for his Jewish heritage. Thanks to the efforts of Bart and Lisa, the pair were reunited and made amends. More recently, Hyman officiated at his son's belated Bar Mitzvah.
